Stunning Open-Plan Kitchen Diner Renovation in Colchester, Essex

Nick and Rosie first approached Spires Interiors with a view to turning their small, separate kitchen and dining room into a large, open-plan cooking and dining space with views over their garden. They knew they wanted to transform their kitchen/diner into one big open space for family living. They also knew the exact colour that they wanted for the furniture and that they wanted a big island in the middle of the kitchen with seating and space to prepare food for the family.

The Spires Interiors design team quickly set to work drawing up plans for the new space, coming up with visuals for Nick and Rosie to see how their new space would look. Upon starting the project, our install team removed the centre chimney breast and separating wall, meaning we were able to create a beautiful, open-plan living space. We also removed the back wall, which separated the garden and the interior, and replaced this with full-width and full-height bi-fold doors, to allow plenty of light into the space and help to bring the outside in.

The end result is a truly stunning, all-in-one kitchen and dining space that exceeded Nick and Rosie's expectations.
